OnePlus is expanding its Ace 5 series with two new variants. Originally launched in China in December 2024, the series currently features the standard OnePlus Ace 5 and the Ace 5 Pro. Soon, they will be joined by the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and the Ace 5 Ultra. The company has officially teased their arrival and revealed key chipset details. Notably, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will be among the first devices powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset.

OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition & Ultra Set for Launch Next Week
OnePlus has officially announced via Weibo that the Ace 5 Racing Edition and the Ace 5 “Extreme Edition” will be launched in China next week, between May 19 and May 25. An official launch date is expected to be revealed soon.
The Ace 5 “Extreme Edition” is likely to be branded as the “Ultra” version for the global market. This device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and is teased to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience, pushing industry standards to new heights.
The upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will feature the newly launched 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. It will be among the first smartphones to debut with this processor, alongside the Indian variant of the Realme GT 7, which is slated for launch on May 27. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is expected to be priced under CNY 2,500 (approximately Rs. 29,700).
Pre-reservations for both the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra are already live in China through the Oppo China e-store and various online retailers. Both devices are confirmed to ship with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 right out of the box.
