Nothing Phone (3) Design Leaked Ahead of Launch
Ahead of its official unveiling on July 1st, an alleged render of the Nothing Phone (3) has surfaced online, courtesy of reliable tipster Max Jambor. The leaked image reveals the rear panel, showcasing a familiar transparent design, though questions remain about its authenticity. Interestingly, a nearly identical prototype was shown earlier this year prior to the Phone (3a) series launch, which casts some doubt on whether this truly represents the final design of the upcoming flagship.
A Closer Look at the Leaked Design

The render shows a white rear panel with a transparent outer layer, consistent with Nothing’s signature aesthetic. The standout feature is the unusual camera housing: two vertically aligned lenses alongside an oval-shaped sensor, which is speculated to be a 50MP LYT600 periscope lens—similar to what’s found on the Phone (3a) Pro.
Unlike its predecessor, the camera module appears flush with the body, not protruding. The back panel includes several tiny screws, both at the top and bottom, and distinctive design elements like a red-accented square and three vertical stripes.
The Nothing branding is positioned on the left, with the model number ‘A000’ visible on the right. Notably, the render does not include the brand’s signature Glyph LEDs, suggesting a significant design shift.
Additionally, we get a glimpse of the button layout, including volume controls, a power button, and a likely Essential Key—a feature seen on the Phone (3a) and CMF Phone 2 Pro, designed to generate summaries based on on-screen content.
Is the Leak Authentic?
While the source claims this is a render of the Nothing Phone (3), a strikingly similar design appeared in an official Nothing YouTube video from February 24th. That video showcased various prototype designs considered for the Phone (3a) Pro, including one with the same unique camera housing, red square detail, and absence of Glyph LEDs.

Given these similarities, there’s a strong possibility that the leaked image reflects an older prototype rather than the final version of the Phone (3). As always, leaks should be taken with a grain of salt.
