With its official launch slated for June 24th, POCO is building anticipation for the POCO F7 by steadily unveiling key details. The company has now confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Additionally, fresh leaks suggest that the starting price in India will be under Rs 35,000.

The POCO F7’s base model is expected to come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and could be priced below Rs 35,000. This would mark a noticeable jump from its predecessor, the POCO F6, which launched at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and Rs 31,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version.
Though POCO has teased a 12GB RAM + 24GB Turbo RAM configuration, it’s unclear whether this is the base model or a higher variant. A promotional image also claims the F7 will be “the most powerful phone in its segment”, with the footnote pointing to a price range under Rs 35,000.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4: Powering the POCO F7
POCO has officially confirmed that the F7 will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a recently launched mid-range SoC from Qualcomm. This chipset offers a peak clock speed of 3.21GHz and boasts 31% better overall performance and up to 49% better gaming performance compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which powered the POCO F6.
According to POCO, the F7 has scored over 2.1 million on the AnTuTu benchmark, underscoring its high-performance credentials. Notably, it will be the second phone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 after the iQOO Neo 10, which is priced from Rs 31,999. The Nothing Phone (3), also set to debut with this chipset, launches on July 1st.
